CITY BREAKS GROUND
FOR NEW OAK PARK LIBRARY
Library Renovations and Construction Projects are in Full Swing Across the City
In May, we celebrated the groundbreaking of a new Oak Park Library,
which is expected to be completed
in spring 2028. At 20,000 square
feet, the two-story facility will be
four times the size of the current
building. The new Library will
feature an IDEA Lab, a podcast
room, multipurpose spaces, reading
areas for all ages, and a community
patio and observation deck with
views of the San Diego skyline.
